About Me

Hi, my name is Christine Kalie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Psychologist in the Erie, PA area. Previously, I was the supervisor of the Functional Family Therapy Program at Family Services of NWPA. Prior to opening my private practice, I had worked in a variety of settings, including: social service agencies, a behavioral health clinic, schools and a residential treatment facility. I received extensive training in family therapy from Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center, Inc. and Functional Family Therapy, Inc. In addition, I received a Post-masters certificate in K-12 School Counseling and I am an Educational Specialist.

I was once “that woman” struggling to “have it all", and learned through trial and error about the importance of creating a balanced life. I combine the best of both worlds in my approach to treatment, years of experience working with clients, families and couples AND “practicing what I preach” in my daily life. I particularly enjoy working with couples who are struggling or looking to enhance their relationship. I have received training in the Gottman Method of Couple Counseling. I will use research proven intervention strategies to help solve the issues that are causing you pain.
When I am not at my office, you will find me running or hiking trails, kayaking, skiing, at the gym, or enjoying my family, friends and one rescue dog named, Angel. I am passionate about helping others create a balanced and joy-filled life.
